Privacy Policy

ProPromptGenius (the "Service") is built and operated by The Chad Barr Group ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account data: email address, display name, hashed authentication credentials, plan level, and login timestamps.
• Prompt content: the prompts you submit, the optimized outputs we generate, any chains, saved chats, and execution results.
• Billing data: subscription status, plan interval, renewal date, and a Stripe customer ID. We do not store full card numbers — payment credentials live with Stripe.
• Usage data: counts of optimizations and executions, feature usage, error logs, and basic device/browser metadata used to keep the service reliable.

How we use your data

• To operate the optimizer, execute engine, and account features.
• To enforce plan limits (for example, Free tier monthly caps).
• To process payments, renewals, upgrades, downgrades and refunds.
• To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, service notices).
• To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and improve reliability.

Third-party processors

We share the minimum data needed with vetted providers:

• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
• AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek) — prompts you submit are sent to these providers to generate optimizations and executions.
• Hosting & email infrastructure — to run the app and deliver messages.

Data retention

Account and prompt data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account from Profile → Danger Zone at any time; this permanently removes your prompts, chains, chats, and execution history. Billing records may be retained for tax and audit purposes as required by law.

Security

We use encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and row-level security on our database. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong unique password and enable any additional protections offered by your identity provider.

Your rights

You can access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time from the Profile page. For anything you can't do in-app, reach us through the Contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email before they take effect.
